Description

Camp Tsotahoteh was closed in 2003 due to the fact that it was a financial drain on the Area. It had consistently posted a $10,000 to $12,000 deficit for more than the past decade and did not respond to the needs of today's program. This was a leased property, and it would have been even more of a financial drain to bring it up to snuff due to neglect. Rather than pour more money into it, the Area decided to concentrate on developing Camp Apple Hill.
