Description

Located in Waldsea Regional Park, the camp has grasslands, wooded areas, and lake frontage. The lodge is an old schoolhouse with power, a wood stove for heat, and bunkbeds for 20. There is also a kitchen building with electric heat and bunkbeds for 22. Toilets are in a separate unheated building. There is a grass area the size of a ball field for games and tenting, tenting in the bush adjacent to the field, as well as another tenting area beside our campfire area, nearer to the lake. A hiking trail along the lake leads to an old buffalo pit. The lake is a salt-water lake with a beautiful sandy beach surrounding most of the lake, great for swimming, canoeing, and boating. In the winter, the road was plowed to within 300 m of camp.

The camp flooded out in 2011 and no longer exists.
