Description

Green Bay Scout Camp is a beautiful piece of wilderness just four hours north of Toronto. It has an emergency lodge for 20 people, hiking trails, cook shelter, formal campfire circle, six other fire pits, outhouses, canoes, docks, good swimming, marked trees for firewood, outdoor chapel, year-round outdoor camping, snowmobile trails, sub-camp for 6 people, 80 km of waterways, and good fishing. Access to the camp is an easy 2 km paddle from the Port Carmen Marina.

Green Bay Scout Camp was donated by Burk's Falls physician Dr. A. W. Partridge in loving memory of his son, Frank "Skipper" Partridge (1924-1949), who was the Scoutmaster of 1st Burk's Falls Scouts. In 1946, the doctor was convinced by his son that the Troop needed a permanent campsite and "Skipper" was allowed to take four young Scouts to Green Bay to begin clearing a site for the future camp.
