The north section of the Camp Gilwell is mostly undeveloped and a good area for no-trace camping. In there south section, there is fresh water, wheelchair accessible outhouses with electricity, a 1000 square foot stone lodge with a fireplace, a natural gas furnace, stoves, fridges, sinks, and a clothes drier. The bunkhouse has 500 square feet of space, privacy area for adults, and is equipped with natural gas heating and electricity.

Camp Gilwell was closed March 2009 and sold due to the cost of fixing the building which had become structurally unsound.
