Description

Lost Lake is a 16 ha lake suitable for canoeing. This camp, in mixed forests, is most suitable for outdoor camping, with separate group camping areas. Each area has picnic tables and pit toilets. The Log Lodge cabin accommodates 32. It has a sleeping loft for up to 30 and a separate area suitable for leaders downstairs. The Leaders' "Ward cabin" has bunks for 10 in two rooms, a simple kitchen area with propane stove, and table that seats 12. There is a propane barbeque. The Kitchen Dining facility has an open air dining area which seats 50, a fridge, large propane stove, serving hot trays, and prep area. There is also a separate bookable Camping area "Berts Meadow" with "Picnic Shelter" with a kitchen prep area and tables to seat about 24 people, campfire circle, and toilets. There is running hot and cold water in the summer. Groups are to park all vehicles in the parking area, and carry their equipment about 100 to 200 meters to their camping area.

Bring your own life jackets and paddles for canoes and paddle boat. The children's playground is being renewed and is not available at the moment.

During the summer, the area is grazed by free range cattle.

There is an increasing amount of program equipment available for your use. Ask when you are booking.
