Description

Users of this well-maintained camp have access to the entire national park. Park staff will provide a key for the gate to allow access after the gate closes.

The main building has a kitchen that is 30×7.5' with 2 stoves, 2 microwaves, 2 four-slice toasters, freezer, a large commercial fridge, pots, pans, dishes, and utensils. You need soap, tea towels, dish cloths, garbage bags, toilet paper, paper towels, and other such related items. Outside is a gas BBQ.

The main room in the main building has a fireplace and can be used for meals, crafts, or sleeping on the floor. There are 4 tables that will seat 10 people each and 3 smaller tables. There is a area for leaders that will accommodate 4 people in bunks. There is in side a washroom with one that is wheelchair compatible and one washroom wheelchair compatible and with a shower.

There are 2 motel-type units. One has 3 units each with bunks for 6 people. The other has 4 units which sleep 4, 6, 8, and 4 people.

There are 2 outdoor washrooms and 3 community-type showers. Cell phone is poor; you may have better reception if you go to the main road.

The old Scouts Canada Camp Henry was closed in 1998 when tiny amounts of PCBs were found on the site. The camp was rebuilt in another location in the park and re-opened in 2006 as a non-Scouts Canada camp.
