Description

Camp Alloway is a wilderness camp, operated by Scouts Canada. This camp has an excellent beach for swimming, and since it is located in a bay, provides an opportunity for developing watercraft skills in a sheltered area.

Groups are responsible for their own boat transportation to the site. Scouts Canada does have a 16 foot boat available for use upon reservation from the Winnipeg Service Centre. You must bring your own motor. This boat can accommodate four adults and their gear.

The site has five camping sites and three outhouses. There are two Cub cabins for sleeping only. In the boathouse, there are seven canoes. You must provide your own PDFs and paddles. Coast Guard Safety Kits are available from the Winnipeg Service Centre upon your request for use of the canoes. Your group will be charged for the replacement of these kits if not returned following your trip.
